Privacy Policy

Governing the collection, use, and security of corporate data.

Last Updated: January 1, 2026
Click Seed (ABN 87 656 256 567) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our enterprise clients. This Privacy Policy outlines our data handling practices in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Collection of Information

We collect personal and corporate information necessary to provision and manage infrastructure services, including:

  • Corporate entity details, ABN/ACN, and authorized administrative contacts.
  • Billing and authorized payment methods (stored via PCI-DSS compliant gateways).
  • WHOIS registration data mandated by ICANN, auDA, and upstream registries.
  • Technical metadata related to portal access, API usage, and DNS query logs for security posture analysis.

2. Use of Information

Data collected is used exclusively for:

  • Fulfilling domain registrations and managing DNS infrastructure.
  • Authenticating access to the Client Portal and API endpoints.
  • Billing, renewals, and corporate SLA enforcement.
  • Detecting and mitigating security threats or compliance violations.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell data. Information is only shared when technically necessary or legally required:

  • Upstream Registries: Wholesale domain registrars require certain contact data to fulfill registration contracts (e.g., auDA for .com.au domains).
  • Payment Processors: Secure gateways handling corporate billing transactions.
  • Law Enforcement: Only in response to valid legal processes, subpoenas, or severe abuse mitigation protocols inside Australian jurisdiction.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Our public website utilizes essential cookies for load balancing, CSRF protection, and session authentication within the Client Portal. We employ anonymized, privacy-respecting analytics to monitor infrastructure scaling requirements without tracking individual user sessions across third-party networks.

5. Security Posture

All data at rest and in transit is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3, AES-256). Administrative access to client data by Click Seed engineers is strictly logged, audited, and requires hardware-backed multi-factor authentication.

6. Access and Corrections

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information held by Click Seed by opening an authenticated ticket within the Client Portal or emailing privacy@clickseed.org.
