Refunds & Cancellations
Governing billing disputes, corporate SLA credits, and asset lifecycle management.
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
Due to the non-reversible nature of wholesale domain provisioning, Click Seed (ABN 87 656 256 567) enforces a strict policy regarding refunds and service cancellation.
1. Non-Refundable Domain Services
Domain registrations, renewals, and bulk transfers are generally non-refundable once processed via upstream registry EPP. Upon completion, the asset ownership is committed for the specific term purchased.
2. Permitted Exceptions
Refunds will solely be issued under the following explicitly defined circumstances:
- Service Delivery Failure: If a scheduled API query fails and the domain Registration/Transfer/Renewal is NOT fulfilled at the registry level.
- Duplicate Processing: If our automated billing incorrectly charges an active payment profile multiple times for a singular transaction ID before processing the EPP command.
- Pre-Launch Cancellation: If a corporate cancellation order is submitted, verified, and approved by a Click Seed engineer prior to the execution of the requested provisioning command.
3. Infrastructure SLAs and Credits
For managed portfolios on guaranteed SLA tiers, "refunds" for DNS downtime are issued in the form of service credits against future corporate billing cycles. These are strictly governed by the specific SLA contract signed during enterprise onboarding. Unscheduled downtime exceeding the 99.99% target triggers automatic proportional crediting algorithms based on the affected tier.
4. Cancellation of Managed Services
Enterprise infrastructure services may be canceled with 30-days written notice, submitted through the Client Portal via an authenticated session.
Upon cancellation, Click Seed will assist your IT department with auth code retrieval and DNS staging to ensure zero-downtime migration away from our infrastructure. However, pre-paid terms (such as multi-year domain renewals previously executed) will not be prorated or refunded.
